Are you more of a sunshine person or do you prefer the petrichor of a rainy day?
The sound, feel, smell, of a hard pounding rain while I’m kayaking is
beyond invigorating. It’s positively magical!
Is there any off-the-wall fact you’ve learned that you’re dying to put
into a story, but haven’t been able to use yet?
Nope. It’ll happen the next I’m rabbit-holing research.
Do you have a favorite line that you really love? Or has it yet to be written?
“Beast is not prey.” That sums up all that character, all her hopes
and dreams and aspirations and determination in four words. “Beast is
not prey.”
What’s your next release and when will it be out?
Rift in the Soul is out now in paperback and ebook. Audio out
later in late spring. And then Junkyard Roadhouse. WHOOT!
When you finish writing a series, do you ever find yourself going back
to the characters in that story and day dreaming about new scenes that
you’ll never write?
No. When it’s done, it’s done. I don’t long for the sunset when the
sun falls below the horizon. I dream of the sunrise, and a new day, a
new adventure.
What’s one thing in life that brings you a lot of joy?
I cannot do one, but I can give the short list: Prayer. Meditation.
Family. Kayaking. Tea. Writing. In that order.
